Originally conceptualised under the MegaLab initiative by the IIT Alumni Council, Ayushca has evolved into one of the world's most ambitious Regenerative Habitat Projects, integrating well-being, sustainability, and cutting-edge innovation across multi-format, multi-location hamlets.
Developed with an investment outlay exceeding 12 billion US$, the Ayushca network currently spans 23 campuses, each covering a minimum of 300+ acres.
Designed as self-sufficient, climate-resilient communities, these hamlets blend traditional wisdom with modern technology, setting new standards for wellness-centric living.
Each estate is designed as a closed-loop, self-sufficient ecosystem — operating with zero liquid discharge (ZLD) and engineered for resource autonomy across energy, water, and food systems. This makes Ayushca inherently bio-bubble capable, resilient by design, and aligned with long-term wellbeing for both people and planet.
As these transformative projects evolve, Ayushća is set to become a benchmark for future-forward living — and a model habitat for regenerative communities of tomorrow.

"The megaLab mission is now set to transform preventive health and precision medicine by bringing new technologies across prophylactics, diagnostics and therapeutics to the market. The only way to lead in this market is to invent the future, and that is the DNA being built ground up in all the megaLab consortium entities.
The Ayushca Estates are a Rs 100,000 crore initiative that envisages the provision of a secure bio-bubble for future pandemics in each state of India. The Ayushća Estates will collectively host over 10,000 Ayurveda hospital beds and over 50,000 residential keys.
For regular times, this will create a global-scale medical tourism infrastructure focused on healthy longevity by fusing the principles of traditional healing systems like Ayurveda with cutting-edge technologies. With a rapid response design to reconfigure the spaces into a bio bubble."

“It is not easy to walk the talk—either in wellness or in sustainability. Both topics are vast and directly concern the health of living beings and of the planet. These are highly interdisciplinary areas that require a holistic approach, rather than a component-level approach, as is currently the case.
This necessitates a central unified vision around which the various modules are built. A well-defined and comprehensive framework with an operating system to operate is the foundation of the concept development —around which the various professionals from architects and landscapers to permaculturists and sustainability experts design their parts. This ensures that not only are the pieces synergistic with each other, but magically the total is way more than the sum of the parts
